STAT High sensitive Troponin I (hsTNI)
Used for the quantitative determination of Stat High Sensitive Troponin I in human serum and plasma via chemiluminescent microparticle immunoassay on the Architect i1000SR automated analyzer.
Instrument: Architect i1000SR
Specimen Type: Serum; EDTA Plasma; Lithium-Heparin Plasma
Volume per test: 210uL (min volume 250uL)
Principle:
The Architect STAT High Sensitive Troponin-I assay is a 2-step immunoassay to determine the presence of cardiac Troponin I (cTNI) in human plasma and serum using chemiluminescent microparticle immunoassay technology.
In the first step, sample and anti-troponin I antibody-coated paramagnetic microparticles are combined. Cardiac troponin I present in the sample binds to the anti-troponin I coated microparticles.
After incubation and wash, anti-troponin I acridinium-labeled conjugate is added in the second step. Following another incubation and wash, pre-trigger and trigger solutions are added to the reaction mixture. The resulting chemiluminescent reaction is measured as relative light units (RLUs).
Testing Range: 1-50000 ng/L
Limitations: Serum specimens from individuals on anticoagulant therapy may show inconsistent results due to incomplete clotting.
